Best time to visit such events is to go a few days earlier than the actual day. I visited on 12th on a weekday :) :) Fresh flowers and minimal crowd! :)
This year's theme, Mysore Palace.
As no much crowd, cops had a relaxed time. Many were even clicking pics on their mobiles, helping visitors with group pics. I had a nice chat with the organizing head who said, this year they have decided to wave off charges for cameras as they felt a lot of people enjoy photographing flowers these days and they simply want to encourage them. Noble thought indeed :)
Close up of elephants. I liked the tail of the baby elephant! Really cute :)
Designer pink pine apple! Design challenge for Apple guys..!! ;)
These stalls were fun! And this time, a lot of eco stuff at display and for sale. I bought a jar of yummy gulkand!
Flory Sprinkles!
Bright red roses were too bright on a overcast day! I had to constantly reduce contrast levels on my cam :)
Dreamy daisy
Mysterious abstract of a red daisy
This one looked so milky! The lovely B'lore weather made all the flowers look even more beautiful!
Poppy: Simple and elegant!
I found this baby bud to be v cute :)
The slight purply tinge looks v attractive.
Nested flower!
White flames!
Gerbera
The slight drizzle significantly added to my Lalbagh experience.
Somethings I always like in Lalbagh :)
Banyan like tree with all its branches concentrated at the trunk. Will remember this spot for the next portrait shoots!
There are a lot of these old huge trees that are extremely beautiful. Maybe one day a photo-event just to click pics of these rare huge trees.! :)
